From the Ground Up

Casey and Brooke Oberg founded Detroit Mulch with a simple mission in mind: Recycle trees of Detroit — as sustainably and efficiently as possible — and create some local jobs in the process. 

Both Casey and Brooke come from deep entrepreneurial roots. 

Casey grew up in a farming family, caring for hundreds of acres of land and livestock. 

Brooke worked in several Detroit revival businesses and non-profits started by her parents. 

So it was only a matter of time until the husband and wife duo developed a practical solution that speaks to the hearts of landscapers and revivalists  in Detroit.
